A friend and I are traveling to the parks, as young adults we are on a tight budget. Are we allowed to bring in our own water bottles and small snacks (like granola bars and pretzels) into the parks?

Hi, Lauren! Oh, sure...you can bring in water bottles and snacks.  We do it all the time!  If the weather is going to be particularly hot, I'll freeze the water bottles the night before and bring them in a small collapsible cooler/lunch box so that they don't "sweat" on me. Just know that all bags will be searched prior to entering park gates.

Also, I have two kids that are finicky eaters.  Therefore, bringing snacks for them is essential. They like to "graze" all day instead of eating big meals.  I hope this helps you plan!  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
