Hi Christina!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you are headed out on a Disney Cruise Line vacation! A magical adventure at sea awaits you and your kiddos and traveling with friends will make it even more memorable!
To request that your two groups are seated together during rotational dining service, contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532. They can note your reservation and will likely “link” your reservations so that you are guaranteed that you will be seated together. Linking your reservations doesn’t affect anything except that you will both be able to see each other’s reservation when you log into your
“My Reservations” and will ensure that your dining rotation is the same and that you are seated at the same table for dinner service each night.
Since you will be traveling with another family, you may want to consider granting permission for your friend to pick up your littles from the onboard
Youth Clubs (and vice versa). You and grant access for another adult to pick up your children when you complete your Online Check-In and register your kiddos for the onboard Youth Clubs. Just make sure you’ve shared the “secret word” with your friend so that she can pick your littles up if need be! I never realized how convenient that was until we traveled with another family. Inevitably our friends would be heading there to pick up their littles and our boys wanted to leave too. Until we gave permission for our friends to pick up our guys, they were not able to do so per Disney Cruise Line policy.
Wishing you a magical vacation with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
