My friend got me tickets for Disneyworld, she linked all the tickets to her Disney Experience. Now I would like to unlink the tickets to add them to my account, we already made park reservations. Is it possible to unlink without loosing all reservations?

    Hi Ally,

    Welcome to planDisney!

The good news is that you have Disney Park Pass system reservations! You certainly do not want to lose those, especially given the dates of your visit. One of two scenarios could be the case here. In the first scenario, you both have your own My Disney Experience accounts and you are linked through the My Family & Friends List. In this scenario, your tickets would be assigned to your profile and that profile is the same one that is associated with your My Disney Experience account. In this instance, you would not need to change anything.

The second possibility is that your friend created a profile for you in her own My Disney Experience account and assigned your theme park tickets to that profile. It sounds like she may be managing that profile. If you are just now creating your own My Disney Experience account, you would be creating a separate profile. I suggest that you contact a Cast Member in website support. Have your friend on the line so that she can verify the information in her My Disney Experience account.

I had a similar problem a few months ago. My husband had a separate My Disney Experience account that he never used. But his Annual Pass was linked to that account. We finally called and a Cast Member helped us deactivate that account. I had to create a new profile for him in the My Disney Experience account that I manage. And then the Cast Member spent a good amount of time making sure all of his plans (resort hotel and park pass reservations) remained intact.

In the meantime, I hope that you all have also booked some advanced dining reservations. If you have not already done so, download the My Disney Experience Mobile App so that you can take advantage of Mobile Dine Check-in and Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. And, last but certainly not least, if you have an Apple device, make sure you have Disney MagicMobile service setup. We setup our passes and are looking forward to having this option for theme park entry on our next visit.

Ally, get those plans finalized! We are so excited to welcome you to a world of magic!

    Magic and memories,
