My friend is thinking about going to WDW, 9 people in the party, tight budget. Where do you think she should stay? On property or off. Any deals she could take advantage of?

    Hi Tracy,

Boy, do I understand the tight budget issue.  I'll tell you, I can't seem to curb my Disney addiction so I've learned to accommodate my travel to my pocket.

I would suggest your friend stay at a Disney property.  Guests save big when utilizing Disney transportation when traveling throughout the resort.  It's all free, and they won't have to rent a car.   Disney's Magical Express, their bus shuttle service, is also complimentary.  The bus will take a guest from the airport and back. Parking fees for the theme parks are also included when you stay at a Disney resort.  I don't know what time of year your friend is thinking of traveling, but there are promotions where dining is free when you book your resort stay and purchase your park tickets.  Currently, the Disney Dining Plan is available for select dates August through December 2016 if booked by July 8.

Please have your friend call 407-939-5277 for help with making reservations.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical day!
