Hi, I have a friend who was supposed to come to Disney world in May with me and recently had to change plans and can’t come but I found someone else to take his tickets.how would I go about changing the name and info on tickets. Thanks

Hey there, hi there, ho there, John!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us your question today! I am sad to hear that you had to change your plans slightly for your magical vacation, but I am glad that you have someone else to share the magic with (although solo park days are also a treat!) You will be coming at an especially magical time, and with all the unique offerings from The World's Most Magical Celebration and the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, I know you and your friend will have a magical time.

Now let's talk about tickets! I love that you are getting all your ducks in order, John, and I am honoured to be helping you during your planning process. Thankfully, theme park tickets can be reassigned as long as they have not been used. However, there are a few things to consider before you do this. First, does your friend have their own My Disney Experience account, and if so, is that where their ticket was linked? Or did you manage a profile for them? In the first case, your friend would have to be connected with the other person travelling in their Family & Friends List, and they would then be able to reassign the ticket to the correct traveller. In the second case, however, you would be able to reassign the ticket yourself as long as the person joining you is in your Family & Friends List as well. To add them, log into your My Disney Experience account and click on "My Family & Friends." Then, click on "Add a Guest" and enter the person's information, ensuring that you enter the email associated with their My Disney Experience account. Next, go into the "My Plans" section under "My Disney Experience" and click on "Tickets and Memory Maker." If you do not have the option to reassign the ticket yourself, reach out to a Cast Member via chat, email or phone, and they will be able to work their magic for you.

Now, John, make sure to plan some time to experience the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. With its breathtaking views of a blooming EPCOT, the unique food options that are only available at this time of year, and the fun activities offered, like the butterfly garden, this festival is a must-do. You might even get to see some of your favourite artists perform as a part of this year's Garden Rocks Concert Series!

I hope this was helpful, John, and that you and your friend have the best day ever at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, don't hesitate to reach out. You're as welcome as can be!

    Have a magical day,
