A friend suggested we Resort Hop & check out the other resorts when we arrive because, we are arriving mid-day. What fun free things can we do at the Resorts at Disney World? We are staying at All-Star Movie!

    Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We love to explore resorts when we visit Walt Disney World. Each of the resorts is wonderfully themed and transports you to a different time and place. It gives us a great opportunity to venture out and make plans for our next visit (even before our current vacation has started.)

We love heading over to Disney's BoardWalk for fun walk-around time.  From there we can stroll  over to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort. If you take the Walt Disney World Bus Service to Magic Kingdom Park, you can walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort and ride the Monorail to visit Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. While you’re at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, visit the lobby and listen to the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra (a personal favorite) or the Lobby Pianist. And don't miss Disney Springs for some fun walk-around time and entertainment at  Marketplace Stage.

    Have fun exploring!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
