Hello! My friend and I are staying at a Disney resort and have our park days reserved. One of our friends is looking to join our trip, but there isn’t availability for the park days we’ve already reserved. Any suggestions??

Trips with friends are so fun, Alyssa. I’m sure you’re going to have a great time!

You know, I really wish I could point you towards a secret door or magical passcode that would make it easier to find those reservations, but the truth is that it’s just a matter of checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar continually and hoping to happen upon a cancellation. Guests do make changes to their plans all the time and there is always the chance that you might luck into availability where none existed before. It’s not a guarantee, but it is a possibility.

Also do keep an eye on updates to the current health and safety measures. As your trip approaches, it’s beneficial to stay informed about what to expect.

I’m wishing upon a star, Alyssa, that your friend finds the availability you all are hoping for.

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
