Recently, I also had a friend sign me up for a runDisney race, and I would be happy to chat about getting your registration linked to your account.
When your friend looks at their registrations on the
runDisney website (in Manage Account under Help & Support), have them go to the Your Events section. Here, your friend should see everything they signed up for. Next to your registration, have them click on the “Edit Registration” link. If they expand the Documents section, there should be a “Send To” link. On the next page, they can input the email address you use for your
MyDisney account. Then you’ll get an email inviting you to link your registration and sign any event-related documents.
Alternatively, your friend can always
contact runDisney through their email form or by phone. I’ve used that form in the past to move my friend’s registration to her account when it was me doing the sign-ups!
