Sandy from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My friend and I are sharing a stateroom, with the reservation in her name. Does she need to do online check in for both of us or do we each do our own online check in?

Ahoy there, Sandy, and welcome to planDisney!

I love that you and your friend plan to sail Disney Cruise Line in the coming months! This will be a vacation you won’t soon forget, and the memories you will make will be unforgettable. I am excited for you both!

Because the reservation is in your friend’s name, she can complete the check-in process using the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or the Disney Cruise Line website once you are eligible to check-in. You won’t need to complete the check-in separately, so sit back, relax, and allow your friend to steer the ship on this one. I learned the hard way in our early sailing days, so now, I complete the process for everyone.

While your friend completes the check-in, you can plan the fun details, like what you will wear, what foods you will indulge in, which DisneyBand+ you will purchase (available on select cruises), and more.

Please let us know if you have additional questions before your arrival.

Have a magically good time on the high seas!
