    Hi, a friend and I want to run the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon in Feb. 2013. Do you know when registration begins? We are both DVC member and would love to book our stay ASAP. Thanks so much.

    Hi Maria!  The Princess Half Marathon is so much fun!  I have run it three times and love it more and more every single year!
    Registration is set to open in July of 2012 for the 2013 race.  You can check the Disney Princess Half Marathon website for updates.  They always post official registration dates several weeks in advance.  You can usually sign up on there for an email reminder once the date has been posted.  Another way to stay up-to-date is to "like" the "Run Disney" page on Facebook.  They are great about sending out useful information and fun facts on there!
    Be sure and check the Princess Half website for the list of host resorts for that race weekend.  They will be posted soon after registration opens, and they will be the only resorts that offer bus transportation to and from race weekend events.  This is a huge benefit.  The traffic for packet pick-up and especially race morning can be pretty bad!
