    A friend recently returned from AKL and noted that there was a good deal of repair and maintenance being done to the exterior of the lodge. My family and I will be there in the beginning of March 2020. Do you know how long the repairs are supposed to last?

     Lela, I'm so happy to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's the very best kind if you ask me!

     Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite Disney Resort hotels. The architecture is just beautiful and the views of the lush savannas are absolutely breathtaking! I always have a wild stay at this unique Resort hotel. During my most recent visit a few months ago, there was some maintenance being done to the exterior of Jambo House. While the work didn't impact my stay, I can understand your concern. You'll be pleased to know that exterior refurbishments are scheduled to be finished by the end of this year, so it should be done well before your visit. 

     The incredible dining options at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge are among my favorites in all of Walt Disney World Resort. I highly recommend making a reservation at Sanaa. At Sanaa, you can enjoy African cooking with Indian flavors while you watch animals roam the Sunset Savanna from your table!
