Hi Meaghan! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
In order to see the ticket in your My Disney Experience account, you and your friend must connect through your
Family & Friends List on the My Disney Experience app. If you haven’t already, you can do this by clicking the three horizontal bars in the bottom right of your My Disney Experience app, then select “My Profile.” At the top of this page is your “Family & Friends List.” Scroll down to the bottom of your list and select “Add a Guest.” From here you can choose to add your friend by finding through connected Guests or scanning their linking code. You can find your linking code on the bottom of the “My Profile” page.
Once you are connected on your Family & Friends List, your friend will need to access the tickets on the “Tickets and Passes” page of the My Disney Experience app. Your friend should choose your ticket, then select
“Reassign Ticket” and pick your name.
After the ticket is assigned to your name, you can then set up your
Disney MagicMobile pass! This will allow you to scan into the theme parks with your phone without needing to open the My Disney Experience app. Click on the three horizontal bars at the bottom right of your My Disney Experience app and find “Disney MagicMobile.” This page will guide you through creating your MagicMobile pass and personalizing your pass style- I love the one that features a DOLE whip! Then add the MagicMobile pass to your digital wallet. Now you can use your MagicMobile pass to enter the theme parks, enter Lightning Lane queues, and link Disney PhotoPass photos to your account!
I hope you get the chance to check out the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts while you’re at Walt Disney World Resort, Meaghan! It’s going on now through February 20, 2023, and there are some great opportunities to see art in action! Catch a concert by Broadway performers during the
Disney on BROADWAY Concert Series, visit booths filled with art, and maybe even meet the artists who created it. Don’t forget to visit the Expression Section: A Paint by Numbers Mural to join in on making some art! I also recommend checking out the
Disney Parks Blog for the
Disney Eats Foodie Guide to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
I hope this answer was helpful, Meaghan. If you continue to have an issue reassigning your ticket, I suggest visiting a
Guest Relations window at the entrance of any of the four theme parks.
Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, please visit us at planDisney again soon!
