Hi Richard, welcome to planDisney!
The only thing I like more than experiencing Disney magic myself is sharing Disney magic with others. It's incredibly kind of your friend to want to share his Walt Disney World Resort tickets with you. He's giving you the gift of unbelievable sights like
Harmonious at EPCOT and indescribable feelings like I experience every time I see Cinderella Castle.
In most cases, wholly unused tickets can be reassigned to a member of your
Family and Friends list in My Disney Experience. To add someone to your
Family and Friends list, click "Add a Guest" and "I'll enter their name and age." When you enter your friend's age as over 18, select "Invite this Guest to connect" and you'll be able to insert the email address associated with his My Disney Experience account. Once your friend accepts the email invitation to connect, he can scroll down on his
ticket page and click the "Reassign Ticket" option that appears to the right of each wholly unused ticket. Your name should appear for selection on the dropdown menu since you are now connected as Family and Friends. Confirm your selection with the "Yes, Reassign Ticket" button and you are now the proud owner of a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket. Don't forget to consult the
theme park reservation availability calendar and make a
theme park reservation for each park day.
I hope this information helps set you on the path to magical adventures. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
