    Can a friend purchase something for me in the parks using my annual pass? I was going to ask them to pick something up for me. Or will the system decline the discount since I'm not in the park?

    Hi Cathie!  Welcome to the Moms Panel.  Being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder myself, I too, enjoy the great perks that are associated with it- including the merchandise discount.  Annual passes are strictly meant to be used by the person who's name is on the pass, and the benefits are not transferable to anyone else.  If your friend was to try and use your pass for a merchandise discount, she would be required to show photo I.D. that matches the name and signature on the annual pass.  So, unfortunately, your friend will not be able to get you the discount on merchandise that she buys. Perhaps you could tell her about all of the great benefits of being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and she may wish to purchase her own?
