If your friend purchased the tickets directly from Shades of Green, they should already be pre-activated. This means your friend won't need to be present on the first day of your park visit. However, if the tickets were purchased at a local ITT office, your friend will need to be present on the first day with a
valid military ID. I recently went through this process myself when buying a ticket for a friend. I was able to activate the tickets right at the theme park ticket counter. It's a simple process, but purchasing directly through Shades of Green makes it even easier by skipping this extra step.
