Jessica, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you back to planDisney! Thank you for being our Guest.
Oh boy! It looks like you're headed to
The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few weeks! Magic is surely waiting for you around every corner, especially since you'll be arriving with
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing. Make some time to check out the glowing
Beacons of Magic in each of the parks, which light up the nighttime landscape! Also, did you hear the exciting news?
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be opening on May 27 so you'll be among the first who will be able to enjoy this awesome new attraction!
Just like the ocean calls Moana, many people are being called back to Walt Disney World Resort! Though there may be a slight increase in crowds as we begin to enter the summer season, no worries! I have a few suggestions that will make your upcoming trip smooth sailing.
- Make sure that you've made your Theme Park Reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! This is the best way to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. If you haven't already, try to make these reservations as soon as possible and take a peek at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure your desired parks are available.
- Download and explore the My Disney Experience app. This is a little like holding your own magic wand in your hand! You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. This is my favorite way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!
- Consider purchasing the Disney Genie+ service or Individual Lightning Lane entrances - or both! You'll be able to make reservations for your favorite and the most popular rides, which will help your day feel as smooth as a magic carpet ride. Talk about phenomenal cosmic powers!
- Make the most of early mornings and late nights. My favorite way to navigate busier times of year is to arrive right at (or slightly before) park opening, head back to my Disney Resorts Collection hotel in the afternoon to swim or take a nap, then return at night to experience the parks in brand new ways.
Jessica, no matter what you do, you're sure to have a truly magical time on your upcoming visit. To me, the only thing better than being at Walt Disney World Resort is being able to visit with people I care about. I'm wishing you and your friend all the faith, trust, and pixie dust that you have an enchanting vacation!
See ya real soon!
