Hiya Lexie,
I like your thinking: twice the parks, twice the fun! With Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park mere steps apart, my family and I love extending the magic of the Disneyland Resort with park hopping.
Yes, in most cases, it is possible to upgrade a One Park Per Day ticket to a Park Hopper ticket. There are a few
terms and conditions. For example, certain ticket types, such as complimentary tickets, may not be upgradeable. Any ticket upgrade must be to a new ticket of equal or greater value than the original ticket. And you’ll still want to make sure there are
theme park reservations available for Park Hopper tickets according to the
reservation availability calendar. To make that upgrade and expand your access to the magic of The Happiest Place on Earth, arrive a little early to visit one of the Main Entrance ticket booths.
If you are visiting the Disneyland Resort during February, you may be interested in the special
Valentine’s Day treats available throughout the theme parks as well as the
Downtown Disney District and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. I’m still dreaming of that delicious Galactic Sunrise Slush I tried a couple of weeks ago. And I’m looking forward to finding the strawberry chocolate cake pops at
Marceline’s Confectionery on my next visit.
I hope you and your friend have a marvelous time at the Disneyland Resort, Lexie. Please come visit us at planDisney again if you have any more questions or requests for recommendations.
