A friend of mine has offered to take some photos of my fiance and me to celebrate our engagement. We were hoping to take the photos on Disney property since it means so much to us. Are there any restrictions on photo taking we should know about?

    Hi Anastasia,

Congratulations on the engagement! Walt Disney World is such a wonderful place to celebrate!

Most of the restrictions about photo taking have to due with recording or use of a flash inside an attraction. If there are photography rules for an attraction, those will always be explicitly stated at the start. But my guess is that you're looking for guidelines about photos at outdoor locations such as the front of the castle.

I have never seen explicit rules about photography outdoors at the parks or resorts. In general, you should be respectful of other guests. For example, don't set up a tripod in a major walkway. But other than that, feel free to shoot away.

    Enjoy!
