Adrina from AK Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

A friend of mine is a Navy Vet and gifted my daughter and I with tickets to Disney World. Orignially, her family was going to go with us as well but our travel plans changed. Are we still able to use the tickets if she doesn't come to the park with us?

    Hi Adrina! Welcome to planDisney.

What a wonderful gift from your friend! I can't think of a gift I'd like to receive more than time with my family at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I'm sorry to hear your travel plans changed and made it difficult to travel with your friend. Unfortunately, the military member must be present to activate each Military Promotional Theme Park ticket, and they must be visiting with any non-military Guests who are using the tickets. Your friend will need to visit Guest Relations with her active and valid military ID, and you would need to be with her so they can activate each of the tickets. If she travels separately from you, you will not be able to use the military tickets.

I know that's not the answer you were hoping for, Adrina. I'm hoping you can either change your plans so you can all travel together, or that you'll be able to visit with your sweet daughter even without the military tickets. Please take a look at the current Special Offers to see if there are any discounts that would work for your visit dates and plans.

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. As you continue to plan and dream about a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your princess, please come back and see us if you think of any more questions.

    Wishing you a magical day,
    Robyn
