A friend of mine is making my kids a replica passport because she told me there was a spot in every country in Epcot to get the country stamp or something or other.. is this true, and where would we find the spots to get this if it is? our trip may15-jun1

    Hi Malia!

Your friend is referring to the 'Kidcot Fun Stops' in Epcot's World Showcase.

It's always fun for my kids to hunt for the Kidcot Fun Stop when we reach a different Country. You can usually spot them when you see a buzzing hive of kids gathered around a table...that's where you want to be! During busy times you have to wait a few minutes for your turn, but sometimes you can walk right up.

There is almost always a representative from that Country at the table talking with everyone..sharing their language and customs. My kids LOVE this. At each table they can decorate a mask and the Cast Member will write something on it and include a Country stamp and a little icon doo-dad attached.  In the end, the kids get to bring home a mask filled with cool designs and a better understanding of these Countries.

One time, we found the Kidcot Fun Stop in England and Alice in Wonderland was the one at the table! She was just coloring away on her own mask all by herself...my kids were speechless! I've never seen another Character do this, but I've been on the look out ever since!

Epcot does have a Passport for purchase (around $10) that kids can take around for stamps...we've never done this, but I love the idea of your friend making one for your kids. A great souvenir that they can enjoy in the future!
