Disneyland Resort hotels, anyone staying in the room overnight would need to be on your room reservation. Whether they can be added to your reservation may depend on a few factors, including whether you booked your stay as a vacation package, how many Guests are currently on your reservation, your room type, and more. The best option is to
call the Hotel Reservations phone line so a Cast Member can review your reservation details. They can check room availability for your travel dates and provide an estimated cost to add another Guest to your reservation. They can also help modify your reservation.
If you booked your hotel accommodations and theme park tickets together through the
Disneyland Resort website or reservation line, then you likely have a
vacation package. Adding a Guest to a vacation package would also require adding another set of theme park tickets, which would increase the total cost.
Here are a few other options for your friend to consider:
- Consider booking a separate, room-only reservation at the same hotel for one night. Or, look into staying at a nearby Good Neighbor Hotel.
- Meet up for some fun at the Downtown Disney District. There are plenty of options for shopping and dining. There is also a bowling alley, and live music may be available on select nights.
- Have dinner at one of the hotel's dining locations. I especially love Character Dining for an extra dose of Disney magic.
