Hi there! My friend and I were looking at a last minute trip for fall this year! But unfortunately it looks as though all Disney resort hotels are no longer accepting reservations? Is there a time where more may become available?

Hey Howdy Hey Kennedy and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear you and your friend are thinking about planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort this fall. There are so many exciting things happening right now in Walt Disney World and so many compelling reasons to visit this fall that I am sure you are going to have a Magical time! Looks like you are having some issues finding availability at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Let's go over a few things and see if we can't find you accommodations soon!

With specific regards to availability, this has been an issue for many ever since the COVID-19 travel restrictions were lifted earlier this year. There has been a lot of pent-up demand and availability at Disney Resorts Collection hotels has been specifically impacted for an uncharacteristically long period. I would like to tell to you wait a bit and more rooms will be coming available soon, but I am not sure that would be the case. You still do have some options to explore to get your trip booked.

I would still advise you to check daily and maybe even several times daily to see if there have been any changes to availability. Depending on your dates of travel, you might want to see if you could break your trip up by staying at one resort for a few days and finishing up at another. Split stays are a great way to experience different amenities at different resorts as well as the rich theming and unique draws of them both. You can also look into resorts that are close partners with Disney that have the Good Neighbor status. These resorts can be found in the More Great Accommodations section on Disney's site

All of the resorts in the More Great Accommodations section have been thoroughly vetted by Disney. Many are given special access and perks to Walt Disney World such as the Early Theme Park Entry for providing exception customer service and going out of their way to make vacations extra Magical as you would find at Disney Resorts Collection hotels.

My fingers are crossed for you Kennedy that you will be able to find availability with one of the options listed above. I hope you can experience many of the exciting events that will be going on during your stay. One of my favorites is EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. This celebration of delicious seasonal food and drink offerings throughout EPCOT pairs perfectly with many of the entertainment options in Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Make sure to plan some extra time to try some of the delectable offerings and a great show from some of the talented entertainers. Stop by Disney Parks Blog and check out their Foodie Guides to help guide you through all the tasty offerings at the Food and Wine Festival!

Best of luck planning your trip and getting your reservations booked. If you have any further questions, please feel free to stop back and let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
