My friend loaned me 3 beautiful princess dresses for my 4 year old granddaughter to wear at WDW. Since we do not have lodging at WDW, I have been unable to book a character meal for her to wear one of these dresses. Should I leave them at home?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Betty, we thank you for your excellent question.

How wonderful it is that you’ll be visiting the most Magical Place on Earth with your precious grand daughter, what memories you'll create and adventures you’ll embark on!

Betty, you can indeed dress your little one as a little princess throughout your vacation, rest assured and just imagine her joy. Have you heard about the magical transformations at Disney’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? Your grand daughter can wear her sparkly princess dress and then be Pixie~Dusted to her delight. Think about this experience and then a Royal dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table, how magical would that be?

As far as those Disney Character Meals, Betty, please keep trying, as people quite often cancel as their plans change and you may be able to secure your favored dining venue. Don’t give up, Betty, I myself have tried when in this situation and have succeeded with the reservation of my choice.

Betty, Disney’s Grand Adventures resource is helpful offering suitable Theme Park Itineraries, rides and attractions, Best Day Ever experiences and plenty of tips for making your visit positively magical.

I wish you a most memorable and enjoyable Disney Vacation, Betty, please don't hesitate to ask for any other advice, we are here for you!

    Best Disney Wishes!
