Teresa from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I have a friend who lives in Socal, is employed in Socal and by all standards according to the state is a Socal Resident, but hasn't gotten a California ID yet. Is there any other way she can prove she is a resident to the park other than an ID?

    Hi Teresa!

Since your friend is living in SoCal and employed in SoCal, then I would conclude she is proud Cali girl and certainly a SoCal Resident!
Since she has not yet gotten a California State ID, and she wants to prove she's a resident to take advantage of the many magical benefits that come with being a SoCal Resident, like:

*Purchase a Disney Southern California Annual Passport
*Take advantage of the SoCal Residents Ticket Offer
*Visit the park many times because she's close enough to do so!

Then, here's what she needs to know-- At this time, the Disneyland Resort will accept only the following forms of ID from guests who want to take advantage of the SoCal Resident offers:

    *CA Driver's License
*State-Issued ID Card with Southern California address
*Current year college photo ID from a local college or university

The good news is, these offers may still be available if she gets a qualifying state ID soon.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, to Infinity and Beyond!
