My friend and I (both 25 y/o) are heading to Disney World this September. Once the parks close, what are some things we could do for fun?

    Hi Melissa,

I have two suggestions for some evening fun with your friend.  Disney's Boardwalk (located in the resort area between Epcot and Hollywood Studios) and Downtown Disney are great spots to end a perfect Disney Day.  The Boardwalk boasts two wonderful locations for dancing and singing the night away.  Atlantic Dance is a 21 and over club which features a DJ  and dancing, and Jellyrolls is the home of the famous "dueling pianos,"  where competing piano players take audience requests and encourage sing-alongs.  The Boardwalk also features some of Disney's best dining, with the Flying Fish Cafe and Yachtsman Steakhouse among a number of other fabulous spots.  In addition, the Boardwalk has a number of free entertainers that rove the "planks" and entertain the crowds, including magicians, comedians and other "street" performers.

Downtown Disney offers a ton of fabulous dining options (including my current "Downtown" favorites:  Portobello for excellent Italian, Bongos for Cuban, and Fulton's Crab House for amazingly fresh seafood), the best shopping at Disney (in my opinion) a huge movie theater and Cirque du Soleil, La Nouba, which I am delighted to say I had an opportunity to see a while back and highly recommend for an unbelievable evening!

Have a great time with your friend!
