Hello! My friend and I are going to Epcot this Saturday and I was wondering if you had any advice on the best way to fully experience the park in one day! We are excited and we don't want to miss out but we only have a day to visit.

Hi Krysti! I know your day at Epcot will be practically perfect in every way!

To begin, be sure to make FastPass+ selections beginning as early in the day as possible. Continue making FastPass+ selections throughout the day so you can maximize your time in Epcot. When possible, try to make your FastPass+ selections back to back and in close proximity to each other. If you can't find selections that match that goal, be sure to enjoy other attractions as you move from one location to another.

Based on the calendar, Epcot will be open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM the day you visit. This gives you 12 hours of magic! I encourage you to take a look at all of the attractions and prioritize everything on your must do list. Make your plan and then enjoy! When you arrive, you will have a plan and a targeted list of priorities. Plans are great but also know that it may be the unexpected moments that absolutely take your breath away.

I highly recommend you arrive at Epcot prior to 9:00 AM so you can get parked and through security with plenty of time before park opening. Once Epcot opens, focus on Future World: A Vision for Tomorrow, and see as much of it as you can. There are a few attractions you could literally spend hours in. There is so much to see and do at Epcot. One of the things I enjoy most about Epcot is the flexibility of many of the attractions. While there may be a timed component, there are many that offer areas designed for Guests to explore, learn and enjoy on their own. These are perfect because Guests can spend as little or as much time as they want in each area.

Once you have enjoyed all there is to enjoy in Future World: A Vision for Tomorrow, make your way to the World Showcase. Along the way, don't forget to stop and smell the roses, literally and figuratively. You are visiting Walt Disney World Resort at one of my favorite times of year! The 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is happening through June 3. Epcot has come alive with amazing topiaries, delicious food at outdoor kitchens, and fantastic entertainment! The flowers will take your breath away. It's a beautiful time to be at Epcot! Have your camera ready as there will be oodles of opportunities to capture stunning photos.

There are so many amazing restaurants at Epcot! Make time to enjoy a meal. My family also enjoys "snacking around the World." You can enjoy a variety of options as you visit attractions throughout the World Showcase.

As your day nears its magnificent end, be sure to find a spot around World Showcase Lagoon and enjoy IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. In my opinion, this should be very high on your must do list. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will conclude its 20-year run on September 30, 2019. Be sure you experience it now before it takes its final bow.

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Please let me know if you need any other information as you plan for Saturday. I'm so excited for you! I know your day at Epcot will be amazing! Enjoy every magical moment!
