Hello, Seini, and welcome to planDisney!
I love that you’re preparing for your December 5-Night
Disney Magic at Sea Cruise from Auckland. What a fantastic itinerary with so many sea days to enjoy the ship’s amenities. You and your friend are going to have a delightful time.
Initially, Disney Cruise Line stated that the Australian sailings would not be decorated for the holidays. Yet, to everyone's delight, Christmas decorations magically began appearing in December. I reached out to a reservation agent, and she mentioned that, as of now, the ship is not scheduled to be decorated for the holidays. Nonetheless, I'm optimistic and secretly hoping they decide to sprinkle some unexpected holiday magic.
While the ship's decorations may be uncertain, you can infuse your own holiday cheer into your stateroom. Many Guests
personalize their cabin doors with festive magnets, and for an extra touch of magic, consider bringing a small artificial tree adorned with battery-powered lights. It's the perfect recipe for a merry and bright cruise experience that's uniquely yours!
I'm confident you'll create unforgettable memories with Captain Mickey. One activity I always prioritize is brunch at
Palo. On my recent cruise, I fell in love with their warm, toasted almond croissants, lightly dusted with powdered sugar – a delicious start to an unforgettable brunch. I highly recommend carving out some time for this adult-exclusive restaurant; it's sure to be a highlight of your voyage!
Please drop me a line if you have any more questions. I would love to help you make the most of your Disney Cruise Line vacation.
SEAS the adventure!
