Have a friend that has some Disney Buck from a previous trip they were on. I was wondering if Disney bucks can still be purchased. I would like to purchase them to give to my 5 year old. That way he can feel like a big boy and pay for this Disney gift.

Hi Scott! I am assuming you are talking about perhaps those great Disney dollars that come in denominations of ones, fives, and tens.  You can still purchase these at any park Guest Service location as well as Downtown Disney.  You can also get them at the resort front desks or concierge desks but they often don't have anything beyond the ones.  Disney stores used to handle them as well but have not  attempted this in a few years and not sure of the store policy at this time.

Disney dollars are a wonderful way to designate spending money while on a Disney trip. My family actually plays a daily game where the participants can acquire more.  They can also be used as incentives for families during the trip.  Perhaps bribery is a better word but when you know they need to be asleep so they can enjoy the next day a little Disney dollar can come in handy!

Disney dollars can be used for anything on property.  If you find you have many left over you can keep them for the next trip or exchange them for regular money before you depart from your resort.
