Hey there, Dena! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney! I'm so happy to hear that the stars aligned for you to spend some time with your friends at
Walt Disney World Resort next week. Now, let's chat about the details for
theme park tickets to make sure you can be part of the fun for a little longer.
The
Park Hopper option is a must for our family when we visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. When our girls were little, we tended to visit just one park per day, but as they've gotten older, it's great to have the flexibility to start the day in one park and catch the evening fireworks in another!
For planning purposes, you're correct that it will be easiest if you have tickets with Park Hopper so you can make plans with your pals. As for adding another day, this is generally pretty easy! You do need to make sure that you add the additional day
before your current ticket expires - so before the parks close that evening. You'll pay the difference between your 1-day ticket and a 2-day ticket, which is usually less than purchasing a separate 1-day ticket.
You can add to your existing ticket via the
My Disney Experience app. From the home screen, select "My Tickets & Passes" and navigate to the ticket. There should be an option to modify the ticket, and you can add an additional day there. If you have any issues, simply stop by any ticketing location at the theme parks or
Disney Springs, or Guest Relations. The always-helpful Cast Members will be more than happy to help!
Dena, I peeked at next weekend's weather in Orlando, and it looks like blue skies and sunshine all around! I hope you and your friends have a magical time together. If our planDisney squad can help with any other questions to add a little extra pixie dust to your trip, please don't hesitate to stop by again.
See Ya Real Soon!
