    A friend currently has imagine keys that are fully paid off and not yet up for renewal, can they upgrade those passes to the new inspire keys now?

    First and foremost, you are such a great friend for asking this question on your friend's behalf!

    As you've heard Magic Key pass renewals are open again! However, it's important to know that Magic Key passes can be renewed up to 30 days before expiration and not earlier. Once your friend is in their 30-day renewal window, they can head on over to the Disneyland Resort website to renew their Magic Key pass! As part of the renewal process, they can upgrade (or downgrade) their Magic Key pass, good news right?

    For the latest and greatest news regarding Magic Key passes, I highly suggest they monitor Disneyland.com, follow @DisneylandMagicKey on Facebook and Instagram, and visit the Magic Key portal in the Disneyland Mobile App.

    Last but not least, I have MORE good news for you! Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is fast approaching, starting on September 2, 2022, and lasting through October 31, 2022. I hope you and your friends can visit the parks and have a spooky good time!
