My friend at church asked me about a souvenir mug from Epcot that costs about $100. Is there such a thing? Her brother wants it but is hard to understand due to a medical condition.

    Hello, Meagan,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I adore exploring all the countries in the World Showcase at EPCOT because not only do I have a chance to learn about different countries and cultures, but there are so many incredibly interesting items to look at and even purchase. I can spend hours and hours in the World Showcase!

It is so kind of you to offer to help your friend, and I have been doing some research on your behalf to help you locate the mug your friend's brother is hoping to find.  I am wondering if he might be wanting one of the mugs from Germany's Die Weihnachts Ecke store.  They are what I would probably refer to as more of a stein even though they are listed as a "Tall Mug with Lid." They have a variety of designs:  Germany Deutschland, Berlin Wall, a crest, dragon, eagle, Santa Claus, Thewalt 1893 Griffin, and train.  Norway's The Fjording also has one with a Viking design.  All of these mugs do cost over $75 (please note that prices are subject to change) and are available for In-Store Only purchases. If you would need assistance with purchasing one, there are independent businesses that offer to shop for Walt Disney World items on the behalf of customers.

If you have the My Disney Experience Mobile app, you can find pictures of the mugs to share with your friend.  Just click on the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom, right-hand corner and then click on Shop Merchandise. You can search for tall mug to see the actual mugs.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the mug you are looking for is one of those!

Wishing you a Disney Day!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
