You're doing the right things and asking the right questions about getting your party's tickets correctly assigned in My Disney Experience. I understand your friend bought six tickets for everyone in your group and that one of the tickets has been correctly reassigned to you. Well done! Your friend can reassign the remaining tickets to anyone that appears on her Family and Friends list. There are two ways to get your boyfriend on that list.
The first option is for your boyfriend to create his own My Disney Experience account. For this option, your friend should click the "Reassign Ticket" dropdown menu next to the desired ticket in her
My Disney Experience account. She should then click "+ Add a Guest" and "I'll enter their name and age." Once your friend enters your boyfriend's age as 18+, additional options will appear and she should select "Invite this Guest to connect." She'll then enter your boyfriend's email address and he will receive an invitation to connect. He must create his own
My Disney Experience account before accepting the invitation. Once the invitation to connect has been accepted, the ticket can be reassigned to him.
The second way to get your boyfriend's name on your friend's Family and Friends list is for you to create a My Disney Experience profile for him under your account. Start by accessing your
Family and Friends list and clicking "+ Add a Guest." Enter your boyfriend's name and age, then select "I want to manage all plans for this Guest." Next, click "update" next to your name as it appears on your Family and Friends list. If "My Family and Friends List is Shared" appears, you're good to go. If you see "My Family and Friends List is Private," click "Share My List" at the bottom. Your friend should then access her Family and Friends list and click "+ Add a Guest" but select the "Find through my connect Guests" option. Your boyfriend's name should appear because his My Disney Experience profile is managed by you and your Family and Friends list is shared. Once your boyfriend's name appears on your friend's Family and Friends list, she can reassign the ticket to him.
If your boyfriend plans on using the
My Disney Experience mobile app to book Lightning Lane attractions, place mobile food and beverage orders, etc. on your park days, option one makes the most sense. If he does not plan on downloading the My Disney Experience mobile app and using it during your park days, option two works best. Either way, you're going to have a magical time!
