A friend and I bought tickets for Merriest Nights, and were wondering if we need to make a reservation for that day? Especially if we plan on going in early at 5p? Thank you!

Welcome to planDisney, Frances!

I am so excited that you got tickets for Disney Merriest Nights! This new and unique holiday experience is going to be so much fun! With your special event ticket, you do not need to make a theme park reservation even if you plan on entering at 5:00 p.m. If you were planning to enjoy the parks earlier in the day, then a regular theme park ticket and a theme park reservation would be required.

Once the event officially kicks off at 8:00 p.m., you'll get to experience six different parties throughout Disneyland Park, all with different themes! There will be a Feliz Navidad Party in Frontierland, a Frozen-themed Party in Fantasyland, a Tropical Party in Adventureland, and so much more! Downloads of all PhotoPass photos taken during the event will be included with your Disney Merriest Nights ticket, so be sure to stop by all the fun photo opps! And finally, don't forget to indulge in all the special treats like hot chocolate and cookies!
