Hi, Karen! Thank you so much for sending in another question to the planDisney site! It sounds like you and your friend are planning a fun trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth this fall.
I'm glad you prepurchased Disney Genie+ Service and Memory Maker; while not necessary, these two upgrades will make your trip more enjoyable. Since these entitlements are showing up in your My Disney Experience account through the
Walt Disney World website, then it makes me wonder if you need to update your app. Make sure you have the latest updates for the My Disney Experience app on your phone, and then log out and log back in to see if it refreshes.
It also sounds like perhaps you are trying to link Memory Maker to your friend; this entitlement will only link to the Guest who originally purchased it, which may be why you are getting an error message. If you were the purchaser, look under "Tickets and Memory Maker" in your account; if you can see it, then you'll be able to share it with your friend (or vice versa). On your Family & Friends list, locate the Guest you want to share your photos with and select "Edit" to access the photo-sharing control.
Lastly, if your
theme park tickets are Will Call, you can pick them up at any theme park ticket window or Guest Relations at
Disney Springs. Or instead, you can link your theme park tickets with your My Disney Experience app. Tap the three lines on the bottom right of your screen, click "Tickets and Passes," select the plus sign on the top right of the screen, and follow the on-screen prompts to add your theme park ticket to your account.
I hope this helps solve some of your tech issues, Karen! If not, you might want to reach out to a travel agent who specializes in Australian Walt Disney World vacations or you can try emailing through this
