My friend booked my disney trip, how does she link my disney account to the tickets and room reservations

Hey there, Kacey! Welcome to planDisney!

The first step you’ll want to do is make sure you have your own My Disney Experience account set up if you don’t already. Once that’s done, your friend should go into her My Disney Experience app or log in on the website and head to Friends & Family. From there, she can add you by inviting you using the email address connected with your Disney account. Once you get the email invitation, simply accept it and you'll be connected.

Once you’re connected, your friend can assign tickets and the room reservation to you. In the app, she’ll go to My Plans, select the tickets, and choose Reassign or Share to link one of the tickets to your profile. The same goes for the resort reservation. As long as you’re on the Friends & Family list, she can add you to the room and you’ll be able to see the stay, have room key access, and see your tickets.

If anything doesn’t show up right away, don’t stress. Sometimes it takes a little syncing time. And if the app gives you trouble, a quick call or chat with a Disney Cast Member can fix it fast.

Once everything is linked, you’ll be able to manage your plans, Lightning Lanes, dining, and MagicBand access right from your own account.

Enjoy your trip to Disney and if you find that you have more questions, please feel free to stop by and visit with us again soon!
