My friend and I are going on an adult only trip. We are Interested in an Animal Kingdom tour. What is the difference between the Backstage Safari, Sunrise Safari, Wild Aftica Trek and Wild by Design? What are the prices of each?

Hi Joan!  I love that you want to experience one of the special tours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park!   The Backstage Safari tour is approximately 3 hours long.  This is a backstage walking tour where you will learn about animal behavior, care, nutrition, medical issues, needs and conservation.  $72 per person.

On the Wild Africa Trek tour, you will explore the Harambe Wildlife Reserve for 3 hours with a special guide.  You'll cross a rope bridge attached to a harness, ride in an open air vehicle, and more.  The tour includes a visit to a unique safari camp.  Depending on the season, prices fluctuate.

Wild By Design is a tour geared for people who want to learn about how Disney Imagineers created Animal Kingdom Park.  This is not a backstage tour.  In other words, you won't see anything behind the scenes.   $60 per person.

The Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure is open only to Guests staying Concierge at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge resort.  If you are not staying Concierge at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will be unable to book this adventure.  The tour takes you along the same path as the Kilimanjaro Safaris.  You'll have more time to view and take photos of the animals.  It concludes with a breakfast buffet at Pizzafari.

I hope this helps you with your decision for a fabulous tour.

Until then, I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
