    Does the fridge in the animal kingdom lodge have a freezer?

    Hi Louise, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about your upcoming stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. 

    The answer to your question about in-room refrigerator availability depends on the type of accommodations that you’ve selected for your upcoming vacation. If you’re staying in a Deluxe Villa (one or two bedroom) room, then you’ll have a full refrigerator and freezer at your disposal in your room’s full kitchen during your stay. 

    If, however, you’re staying in a Deluxe Studio or “standard” room, then the refrigerator that you’ll have will be one of the half size versions with only a tiny “ice box” in the top. While I’ve been able to keep some things such as ice packs cold and semi-frozen by using it, I’ll admit that for things that need to stay frozen, such as popsicles, it didn’t really freeze things as well as I would have hoped.
