Fri. June 7 we are going to ride surreys, boats, swim, and get massages @ WL. To do all these resort activities what would be the best time to do the massage? From there going to Fulton's, what time for dinner res and leave enough time to still explore DD?

    Hi Nicholas!

    Thank you for this question.

The good news is Downtown Disney is open late into the night / early morning. It basically closes down around 2 am so there is plenty of time to explore Downtown Disney after dinner. The only exception would be if you are going to see a Cirque de Soleil show in Downtown Disney which is a fabulous show; in that case you would want to do some exploring before dinner to make sure you can get all of the shopping done. How much time is required is really guest dependent. I know guests who can spend all day there shopping, going to DisneyQuest and Cirque de Soleil, and eating at the various restaurants; I also know guests who can get in and out of there in an hour or two with bags of souvenirs!  I generally recommend, however, that guests plan for dinner around 7 pm.

For the time for the massage, that is also guest dependent. I would like to ride a bike, then have a massage, and then go for a relaxing swim, but I know others who would like to swim first; also some of the oils used during a massage may need to be thoroughly washed off before laying in the sun. I think it is up to you, but I would plan on 2 to 2.5 hours for the massage, depending on the exact massage you do; that includes checking in, getting ready, and relaxing afterwards.

I hope this helps. Good luck with your decisions!
