On Fri Feb 19, we will be visiting MK. We have ADR at Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge) at 5pm and would like to return back to MK in time for the night parade (7pm) and fireworks(8pm). Is this possible? If so, how should will rush bacK?

    Hi Julie,

This is possible, but I don't know if I recommend it.  From the Magic Kingdom, you can catch a boat directly to the Wilderness Lodge where Artist Point is located.  Since the boats run fairly often, I think it is the fastest way to get there.

Your dining reservation is at 5:00.  Even if you get there a little early, it might not be until after 5:00 before you are seated.  For table service restaurants, I generally plan on being there for an hour and a half to two hours; the average for my family is probably an hour and a half.  I like to enjoy the experience and not feel rushed.  So if you weren't seated until 5:15, you wouldn't be done until about 6:45.  You won't have enough time to get to the boat dock, catch the boat to the Magic Kingdom, go through security, go through the turnstiles, and go under the train station to see all of the parade.  However, you might catch the tail end and you would definitely be back in time for the Wishes fireworks show.

Of course, you could tell the cast member at Artist Point that you are in a hurry and ask them to accommodate you.  I have found cast members to be usually pretty good about that.

Good luck and write back if you have any more questions!
