Hello! I have been frequently checking for a dinner reservation for the Blue Bayou Restaurant on Sept 11th for my 30th birthday! Are they only taking walk ins at this time? Or is there another way to book a reservation besides the app? Thanks!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for reaching out to us with your question about Dining Reservations! First of all, happy early Birthday, I can't think of a better place to celebrate your milestone birthday, I am sure it will be absolutely magical!

Advanced Dining Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance and can be difficult to secure as some locations are extremely popular! My best advice to you is to be consistent in checking for reservations. Guests do change plans and cancel reservations all the time so more reservations may become available. I have had great luck in finding a reservation the week before our visit, with some perseverance.

If your arrival date approaches and you have yet to secure your Advanced Dining Reservation, head over to Blue Bayou Restaurant when you arrive at Disneyland Park. Most restaurants will have a limited number of Same-Day Walk-Up reservations based on the day's capacity.
