We are frequent visitors and hoping to try some quick service restaurants at different resorts. I know you can park for free at a resort when you have a restaurant reservation, but what if you hope to just eat a quick service location? Can you park free?

    Hi Jillian,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and than you for asking us another question!

I have some great news for you! We usually rent a car whenever we visit Walt Disney World Resort, and one of the reasons why we do so is to be able to visit other Walt Disney World Resort hotels during our stay. I haven’t typically encountered any issues with complimentary self-parking at another Resort, even if I don’t have a table service reservation. Just show your MagicBand and photo ID to the Cast Member who will greet you when you arrive and you should be good to go.

The only caveat I’d give you is that if it’s a particularly busy day at Walt Disney World Resort or if the Resort you’re hoping to visit is hosting a special event, you may only be able to park there for a couple of hours before being asked to move your car. If that’s the case, the Cast Member who will greet you will provide you with further instructions if that’s the case.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
