We are frequent visitors to Disney as we live 2 hours south of Orlando. We are planning a weekend trip to Disney in April of this year and want to stay at a Disney resort. Which resort has the best pool area for a 7 yr old and a 5 yr old? Thanks!

    Hi Jill!

This is a difficult question to answer given that there are so many variables to consider.  I'm not sure of your budget, so I will make some recommendations for Walt Disney World Resorts in all three price categories.

    • Deluxe - Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club Resort  has a pool with a sandy bottom, lazy river and fabulous water slide.
    • Moderate - Disney's Coronado Springs Resort has The Dig Site.  Here you will find a Mayan themed pool area with a huge pool, water slide, volleyball court and an arcade.
    • Value - Disney's Art of Animation Resort is has fabulously themed pools from many of your favorited Disney animated films.
Truthfully, all of the Disney Resorts have fabulous pool areas.  You really can't go wrong with any of them. You may decide you like the theming better at one resort over another.  Take a look at all the Walt Disney World Resorts  and see if a different resort suits your family better.

I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
