Hi! Frequent Disney visitor but just booked our next trip for Caribbean Beach Resort in February 2024. We haven’t stayed there and are curious of the potential impact of the pool closure on our stay.

Welcome to planDisney, Meghan! It's my pleasure to answer your question today. What a great way to beat the cold winter with a totally tropical stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!

You are quite right that from January until late March 2024, the Fuentes Del Morro Pool is unavailable due to routine maintenance. During this time, as a Guest at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you would be invited to splash around at one of the five leisure pools located in the Aruba, Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, and Trinidad areas of the Resort. You can check on the latest developments on the Disney Parks Blog. As a frequent Walt Disney visitor, I'm sure you're already aware of the outstanding care taken by Disney lifeguards and utmost consideration for safety, which always calms my mama mind when swimming with my Mouseketeers. Please rest assured there will still be plenty of splashtastic options to enjoy even if your first preference pool is unavailable.

I believe Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort offers a magical stay! The fantastic dining options and easy access to Disney Skyliner (my ultimate transportation option in all of Walt Disney World) make it a top-notch choice. Just imagine yourself sipping on your favorite Joffrey's Coffee & Tea drink first thing in the morning while gliding through the sky to EPCOT - perfection!

After a busy Disney day, I highly recommend trying a specialty cocktail like a Strawberry Margarita from Spyglass Grill for a spectacular sundowner overlooking Barefoot Bay.

Meghan, I hope this information helps you to enjoy a magical stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. We are always here to help at planDisney if you have any further questions ahead of your adventure.

    Have a magical day!
