On a recent trip to Disneyland, the temperatures dropped a bit in the evening, and my friend
Candace bought the cutest beach towel at the Emporium to keep us warm while watching the parade. And she had a fantastic souvenir, wrapped in fun memories!
You are most likely to find beach towels at the large gift shops in each of the four theme parks.
- Magic Kingdom - The Emporium stretches from the front of Main Street, U.S.A. to Casey's Corner. This store has everything, from t-shirts to plush characters to housewares. Once you enter the park, it is on the left side when you face Cinderella Castle.
- EPCOT - Creations Shop is in World Celebration, a perfect location for someone who celebrates everything Disney with merchandise (aka, me). You can find this by heading left of Spaceship Earth if you enter the park through the main gate.
- Hollywood Studios - Mickey's of Hollywood is the place to be and be seen! You can find this shop on Hollywood Boulevard, located to the left after entering the park.
- Animal Kingdom Theme Park - You can find just about everything at Discovery Trading Company. This store is on Discovery Island, which is to your right after you pass through the gates and cross the bridge to head to the Tree of Life.
Jonathan, I sincerely hope your trip is sprinkled in extra sparkly Pixie Dust! My cousin's family had a trip through Make-A-Wish, and it sparked an enduring love for Disney vacations and a lifetime of core memories.
