Hello there, Kimberly, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your transportation question to us. I'm happy to help you with your options for traveling to
Cape May Cafe and
Disney's Beach Club Resort from
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Let's get right to it!
You have a few options. The option I recommend is to take
Disney Resort transportation from French Quarter to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. From there, either transfer to a boat to Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts or transfer to the
Disney Skyliner where you'll transfer again at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to the Skyliner that takes you to the International Gateway at
EPCOT. Then, it's a short walk to Beach Club. You could also walk from Hollywood Studios to Beach Club, and this will likely get you there faster than transferring.
Another option is to head to the bus stop at French Quarter and take the first bus that arrives. Then, transfer to the Yacht and Beach Club from there.
You could also use
Disney's Minnie Van Service for a private ride straight to Beach Club. This is probably the most efficient, but it does come at a cost. This service is offered through the Lyft app, but Walt Disney World is the only place where you can ride in an actual Minnie Van. That, in itself, makes it worth the splurge for the experience, in my opinion.
Kimberly, I hope you enjoy your meal at Cape May. Please visit us again here at planDisney with any other planning questions.
Let your dreams guide you!
