Hello, or should I perhaps say, "
Bonjour" Laurent, and welcome to planDisney!
It's so good to see you here today, and I thank you for bringing planDisney such an important question about your family's upcoming 4-week long
summer holiday to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.Laurent, I'm so happy to share that
Walt Disney World Resort does indeed offer Guests with Disabilities some really inclusive accommodations such as the Disability Access Service (DAS). I know from my own experience of visiting
Walt Disney World Resort with a close family member who lives with a cognitive, or hidden disability, that the Disability Access Service (DAS) really did make their trip even more accessible.
You'll be pleased to hear that it's super easy to register for the Disability Access Service (DAS). Upon arrival at your first Disney Theme Park, simply make your way to
Guest Relations where helpful Cast Members will be able to discuss the individual needs of your child, and if appropriate, will be able to register them for the Disability Access Service (DAS).
Plus, it's good to know that any Disability Access Service (DAS) which may be provided for your lovely family will be active for up to a whole 60 days!
Lastly, I thought that it might be useful for you to know that it's always possible to connect with Disability Service Cast Members via email:
disability.services@disneyparks.com I hope that I've been able to provide some pixie-dusted reassurance and guidance for you today Laurent. If you should have any further questions concerning
Ways to Access the Magic during your Vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, then please do feel free to pop back to
me here at planDisney. I'm always happy to help wherever it's possible!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
