Would the freezer section of the fridge at Pop Century be able to fit a tub of ice cream?

    Hi Rochelle!

Mmm! I like your planning! What a special treat it would be to enjoy an evening scoop of ice cream after a long day of exploring the parks. How fun!

Unfortunately, while I think it is an incredible idea, in my experience, the Disney in-room refrigerators do not have a freezer section large enough for a tub of ice cream. I also don't recall the refrigerators at Disney's Pop Century Resort having a freezer section and I'm fairly certain the new ones offered in the recently refurbished rooms do not have one either. Bummer, as I really do think it is a grand idea.

I do have a few spots I love visiting to get a perfectly creamy scoop of ice cream during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. First, my family adores the offerings at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. If you've got a group, try tackling the Kitchen Sink Sundae! The nearby Ample Hills Creamery is another favorite. I adore their Peppermint Pattie Ice Cream. Or, you can never go wrong with a treat from L'Artisan des Glaces in Epcot or the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in Magic Kingdom Park.

Oh my! My tumby is a grumbly for ice cream! While it may not be exactly the same, I hope you find these options might just satisfy your own sweet tooth cravings. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
