Is there a way to freeze ice packs overnight at the resorts? Or can you bring ice in ziplock bags?

    Hi Krystal!

I'm super excited to see you will be at Walt Disney World Resort in a few short days!

You have a couple of options regarding keeping items cool during the day when you are out and about enjoying the theme parks and all that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.

Clearly you are aware, based on the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, loose ice is not permitted in any theme park or water park. However, loose ice may be brought in if it's contained in plastic storage bags. You can refill your zipped bag throughout the day with complimentary ice from Quick-Service locations in the theme parks.

If you are staying in a Disney Resort hotel with a mini-refrigerator, most don't typically have a freezer compartment so it will be difficult to freeze an ice pack overnight. However, you can chat with Bell Services or the Front Desk at your Disney Resort hotel. They can store your ice packs for you overnight and you can pick them up prior to heading to the theme parks for the day.

I love how thorough you are being with your planning! You are clearly putting the finishing touches on your vacation plans!

Thanks for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Enjoy every magical moment of your vacation!
