Hiya Kaylee,
Welcome to planDisney! As someone who loves to plan for at least a half day at the pool during her visits to Walt Disney World Resort, I was super excited to hear about the
water park benefit for resort Guests. So much so that we rearranged our flights to take full advantage of the perk. I cannot wait to see how much fun my toddler will have splashing around on her first visit.
Unfortunately, at this time, the water park benefit is only available on check-in day and cannot be transferred to a different day. I’m so sorry this doesn’t align with your current arrival plans. Kaylee, I’m not sure if you are planning a split stay (a stay at more than one resort hotel), but if you are, did you know that you get the water park benefit when you check in to the other resort as well? This is perfect if you are not able to take advantage of the benefit the first time.
I’m sorry I didn’t have better news to share, Kaylee, but I hope I was helpful. Before I let you go, I wanted to share one of my family’s newest traditions with you. As parents of a two-year-old, we know that if we don’t have an activity planned for as soon as she gets off the plane, we are in for a long night. So, if we are flying in later in the day, we will often make a beeline to one of the resort pools. Pool hours are subject to change, but in our experience, they are typically open late enough that we can get one-two hours of fun before they close. I know it is not the same as splashing around at
Disney’s Blizzard Beach or
Typhoon Lagoon, but it is definitely an option to keep in your back pocket. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
