Hi! I just got a free upgrade from Pop to Saratoga or Key West, picked Saratoga. Did I make the right choice. I want my family to have a magical vacation and tons of memories I just dont know much about the deluxe . What makes it a better pick. DS10- DD7 :)

    Vanessa:

WOW!  What an upgrade!  Going from a value resort to deluxe villa!  As much as I love the "kitchyness" of Pop Century, I'd have upgraded, too, in a heart beat!

The first thing you'll notice about Saratoga Springs is its generous campus of rolling, grassy hills and canals, just like Saratoga in New York (in the summer....so no snow or snow mobiles gliding across those canals at WDW, though!)  The rooms are so much more spacious than Pop, not to mention their granite countertops and plush bedding.  PLUS, you'll have a kitchenette!  Its main pool reminds you of a pricey resort with rocks and waterfalls and has a slide--definitely an upgrade from Pop's.  The property also houses one of Disney's spas.

What gives it a leg up, if none of this sounds tempting, is its boat access to Downtown Disney.  When we stayed at Port Orleans across the canal, our sons fell in love with the boat!  It was a like a ride in itself!

I assure you, Saratoga will not disappoint!  Again, congratulations on the upgrade!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
